About the Feast of St. Anthony Beginning in 2000, the parishioners of the Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park have hosted the Feast of St. Anthony in early June each year. The Feast, honoring the life and work of St. Anthony of Padua, is now a tradition in the Roselle Park community, attracting 8,000 visitors over four nights. Benefiting the Community Proceeds from the Feast benefit the Church of the Assumption, and the Church of the Assumption gives back to our community by:
Operating a food pantry that provides food for residents in need each week
Providing hundreds of sandwiches to the St. Joseph Social Service Center each week
Hosting blood drives
Providing a location for over a dozen community groups to meet each week
Supporting events run by the Roselle Park Police Department and PBA
Introducing the Food Court Sponsorship In addition to our other sponsorships, the Feast of St. Anthony has a food court that has 30 tables and seating for over 250 people under two large tents. The food court is located directly in front of the entertainment stage and is the main gathering place for our Feast. The Food Court Sponsor will have a 2’x6’ banner displaying the company name for the length of the feast, with their name announced as the Food Court Sponsor by the MC twice each night.
